Day #362 part C When I told Lucky that I couldn’t figure out why no one has bought this beautiful headdress yet, he promptly clarified to me that it is not as nice as my others. It looks like an old vintage grandma hat, all flowery. My other stuff is apparently more magnificent. The wonderful thing about such blunt honesty is that when someone of this verbal caliber compliments you, you know they mean it. No sugar coating from Lucky, he tells it like it is. The days of this project are nearly over, this is in fact the last Tuesday we shall shoot for this creative venture. We are BAFFLED by what to do for our final shoot. We have set the stakes pretty fricken high, you know??????? FUUUUUCK. And ideas? Someone have a unicorn I can ride?

Day #362 part C

Day #362 part B A few months ago I ordered this orange and gold kimono, fantasizing that it would be as soft and sumptuous as my vintage one. Such is not the case, it feels more like a Brillo pad. Scratchy, stiff, and super hideous to the touch. Kinda like someone set a normal kimono on fire, then sold it as new. Ebay for the win~~~~ Online shopping is not for the faint of heart.

Day #362 part A It seems each of these epic shoot days has a vibe, today’s was decadence!! One of my favorite themes, I fancy myself an elegant enchantress of most seductive powers, galavanting about town on ponies and man drawn carriages That’s right, man drawn carriages, you did not read wrong. I would have horse bits in their sumptuous mouths and reigns upon their bulging muscular, oil lathered, barren shoulders. Giddy-up! These first shots are showcasing this absolutely decadent outfit by Royal Black Couture Corsetry (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Royal-Black-Couture-Corsetry and http://royalblack.at/). I have lusted longingly for their beautiful wares. Although I will doubtful ever be able to afford these creations, I was delighted that the beautiful Ophelia Overdose (http://ophelia-overdose.blogspot.com/) had brought along her golden robot themed outfit and was generous enough to let me wear it. Truly a work of art, every detail was attended to, the seams perfect, the quality magnificent, and the fit superb. Anyone who has worn a fine corset knows the difference, well made ones can be cinched super tight without discomfort. Swooooon… I am more in love with Barbara Pesendorfer’s custom creations than ever before!

Day #362 part A

Day #360 part C And finally, and most excitedly, I painted myself in gold and got to wear this beautiful hat that I had made for a photo shoot recently. The shoot was cancelled and the spectacular hat was left neglected:( But alas, Lucky took these fricken rad shots, which remind me of the laughing Buddah!! hhhaahaaaaaa!!!

Day #360 part B Additionally, I was distracted by this huge tea pot. Due to it’s unfortunate aesthetic imperfections, it was on SALE! Yep!! The day started with Darth Raper, and ended with tea pot bukaki. Never was Alice defiled in such a way before, happily humping inanimate objects she found herself covered in orgasmic delights. Day #360 part A What they say is true- inspiration comes at the most unpredictable times! This morning, a shoot here at Pillar Box Studios cancelled last minute and I decided to call Lucky. Luckily (hahah) he was available to come shoot some stuff, I think the realization that we are days away from the completion of this project has really fueled us with some inspiration!!! Somehow I knew- I must include Darth Vader. There is actually a 5 foot tall Darth Vader pinata down the block, in the pinata district. You may have noticed the underlying theme of pinatas in my blog, and in a lot of shots of the studio that other photographers take (if you are familiar with our studio FB page I often post other people’s work on there…. https://www.facebook.com/PillarBoxStudios). I waaaaaanted the real life size Darth, but it was $100 bucks. So I settled for this cheap-o one. Guess I got a little tooooo excited. He’s a real accommodating lover! Whew!!!

Day #245 I made this delectable Minnie Mouse hat, and although I know that Minnie Mouse has been a common theme throughout the months of this photo project, I really love this one and could not help but desire modeling it:) It is made with Haunted Mansion Wallpaper fabric and embellished with skulls, leaf skeletons, and rhinestoned spiders. Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, Brown paper packages tied up with strings….. Day #310 This is another custom piece I did for a client which made me step way outside of my box, creatively speaking.  He said no feathers, and all black. Well, I am definitely a woman largely dependent on the vibrancy of the rainbow, so it took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do for this!  Finally, when he was impatiently inquiring as to where the pieces were, I dreamed them up.  I thank the surreal nature of the great abyss of my mind and the universe for delivering this inspiration into my brains while I peacefully slumbered!  These were shot here at Pillar Box Studios during the lunch break of the construction workers who were putting electrical pipes on my ceiling yesterday, about an hour before I went to the post office and shipped these out.
