Something you will learn about Lucky is that he loves a woman in a casual t-shirt or tank top and some cute panties. When I told him I would wear whatever he wanted, that was his request… like usual :-) So anyone who wants to show up here and seduce him, I suggest pigtails, a white t-shirt, and cotton panties. Just saying.

So. sleepy. soooo. sleepy. I feel a slight bit under the weather and am so so ready for slumber! Been up since 10pm last night and even though that’s not an unnaturally long amount of hours, my energy has been expended. I cannot wait to cuddle up in bed and sleep. I am kinda looking forward to waking up tomorrow at like 5 am too and working through the day. It’s a nice change of pace for a night owl such as myself! Yesterday I never saw the sun, and today I wont see the night. Also just uploaded a new headdress to my shoppe which I am super proud of. Getting ready for a super special shoot in it soon, which I am going to resist divulging the details of, because surprises are always better! But check it….. I want your eyes to orgasm :-) - Sylva

So I have to say, I don’t think our creepy photos from yesterday were the most popular images. It’s a real shame we couldn’t share more, cause as a collection they are so disturbingly humorous that I almost peed myself when clicking through the raw files.
I wish there was somewhere to post the “what’s really going on” images. I will be decked out from the knees up but wearing fuzzy socks and Crocs, or painted from the front and bare assed when I turn around. It always cracks me up, especially when the images are super glamorous. This shot would look pretty funny in color, I have on a white top, tinged yellow spandex pants, dark purple lipstick, and red eyebrows, and the wall behind me is purple. When you are shooting black and white you kinda have to amp up the contrast, and although this image would make no sense in color, desaturation does it justice. Smoke and mirrors, yo! - Sylva
This is one of those times I’m glad to be shooting digital. With all of the movement in photos like this it’s hard to tell when you’ve got THE shot so you naturally want to shoot more than you normally would. Of course that totally backfired on us this time because there were so many awesome shots it was ridiculous. We probably had at least three times as many first selections as we normally do for these. So I imagine there will be quite a few of those posted on My Lucky Life as well in the future.

When I was in elementary school my roll call number was 58.
I chose to spend my day running around to numerous post offices and dealing with shipping hats rather than coming up with a shoot idea, and then followed that disaster with some deeeelicious sushi in Hollywood. That definitely cheered me up :-) Then I distracted myself with phone conversations instead of working.
Day #6
Me n Lucky knew when we started this project that every day would not be filled with creative inspiration. Sometimes you just wanna curl up in bed and pout. 11:00 rolled around this evening, after an exhausting and busy day, and we realized it was time to take our photo or let y’all down! We decided to go with a super casual snuggley vibe and I hopped in bed to shoot these black and whites. Mostly, right now, I am just interested in getting back in bed and petting my little doggies. Goodbye today, and hello tomorrow. We have some grand plans for tomorrows shoot, which will be both very personal and life changing. Fer reals. - Sylva
