Day #362 part B
A few months ago I ordered this orange and gold kimono, fantasizing that it would be as soft and sumptuous as my vintage one. Such is not the case, it feels more like a Brillo pad. Scratchy, stiff, and super hideous to the touch. Kinda like someone set a normal kimono on fire, then sold it as new. Ebay for the win~~~~ Online shopping is not for the faint of heart.

And finally, and most excitedly, I painted myself in gold and got to wear this beautiful hat that I had made for a photo shoot recently. The shoot was cancelled and the spectacular hat was left neglected:( But alas, Lucky took these fricken rad shots, which remind me of the laughing Buddah!! hhhaahaaaaaa!!!

Additionally, I was distracted by this huge tea pot. Due to it’s unfortunate aesthetic imperfections, it was on SALE! Yep!! The day started with Darth Raper, and ended with tea pot bukaki. Never was Alice defiled in such a way before, happily humping inanimate objects she found herself covered in orgasmic delights. I think I miss my lovers… I am really getting carried away:)
Day #360 part A
What they say is true- inspiration comes at the most unpredictable times! This morning, a shoot here at Pillar Box Studios cancelled last minute and I decided to call Lucky. Luckily (hahah) he was available to come shoot some stuff, I think the realization that we are days away from the completion of this project has really fueled us with some inspiration!!! Somehow I knew- I must include Darth Vader. There is actually a 5 foot tall Darth Vader pinata down the block, in the pinata district. You may have noticed the underlying theme of pinatas in my blog, and in a lot of shots of the studio that other photographers take (if you are familiar with our studio FB page I often post other people’s work on there…. https://www.facebook.com/PillarBoxStudios). I waaaaaanted the real life size Darth, but it was $100 bucks. So I settled for this cheap-o one. Guess I got a little tooooo excited. He’s a real accommodating lover! Whew!!!

I made this delectable Minnie Mouse hat, and although I know that Minnie Mouse has been a common theme throughout the months of this photo project, I really love this one and could not help but desire modeling it:) It is made with Haunted Mansion Wallpaper fabric and embellished with skulls, leaf skeletons, and rhinestoned spiders. Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, Brown paper packages tied up with strings….. This has been the best Valentines Day EVER!!! Lucky and I went on an awesome hike through the wonderful Hollywood Hills, followed by a fun shoot with BALLOONS, then off to Art Walk here in downtown with Moritz Maibaum and Ophelia Overdose, who are visiting from Germany. I ran into all sorts of people who I like a lot, including Marco from El Vaquero Muerto, Paul Koudounaris who photographed and wrote The Empire of Death, my older brother Ian, Nathan, the owner of The Hive Gallery, and many more wonderful friends!! So happy to be home now, off to do a quick yoga session and SLEEEEEEP! At 9:45 am tomorrow a nude photographer from Alaska is coming to shoot her at Pillar Box Studios!!!
