Day 155

I am so so fortunate that I live in California :-)  There are an endless amount of beautiful places to visit within a few hours of Los Angeles. It is easy to forget when you are within city limits, the vast beauty of nature seems so far away.  But then you hop in a car, fully loaded with necessities like food and warmth and shelter and luxuries like the pillow palace, and drive less than 3 hours away, and find your way in one of California’s forests.  This particular spot is just north of Idyllwild.  My friend Mykal Binds had found it, as he is very skilled at locating amazing camp spots!  There were only 12 of us but we had rented a 100 person camp location and had the luxury of privacy and porta potties :-)  I hiked with my friends Kyle and V Nixie in search of a decadent photo location and found this cute boulder nestled in the trees :-)
