Day #42
For our second Elements shoot we have decided to do Water.  We figured Air takes up the most volume on the planet, and second to that is Water, which covers 70.78 percent of the Earth’s surface, or about 139.4 million square miles (what what!!).  While my depiction of water cannot possibly come close to the dramatic effects that water has, such as rain storms, ocean waves, floods, tsunami’s, humidity, hydration (and on and on)  I wanted to create something that elegantly depicted its sparkling beauty.   Since most of the water on the planet is in the ocean, I was inspired to include a ship and a Japanese influenced wave, which I covered in beading :-).    I was very excited about how this hat turned out, as I feel it is very different from my normal creations.  Ahoy matey!- Sylva
