Bubbles and Frown Haberdashery Shoppe, the brain child of all of my multiple personalities, leaving me free to express myself with the abundant myriad of rainbow visions that haunt my mind.
http://BubblesAndFrown.etsy.comWhiskey, who tortured me so and eventually freed me of it’s addictive bind. Thank you for all the painful lessons, you terrible temptress.
Yoga at Pillar Box Studios, which helped me bring one of my favorite practices into my life. The weekly/ bi weekly classes taught by Gretchen Karma and Laila Liliana Garro showed me the powerful healing powers of yoga, which I have since begun to practice on my own. Although the weekly yoga class is no longer being held here, through it I met some amazing friends who will be with me forever more. One such person was the beautiful and inspiring Laura aka Phoenix Rising, who unfortunately became ill with Leukemia shortly after substitute teaching a few of our yoga sessions here. The day we met I know we would be friends forever, however I did not know that forever would be so short. Laura passed away this month after an admirable struggle with the disease, but lives still in my heart. I love you, wherever your soul may be.
Minnie Mouse. You are the kinkiest cartoon ever.
Sobriety. I am days away from my one year anniversary without alcohol and constantly feeling liberated by this choice. Thanks to whatever miraculous powers of self realization lead me to this path. My health, inspirations, artistic talents, relationships, career, and every other aspect of my life have continually benefit from this evolution.
Rachel Sigmon of Posh Fairy Tale Couture was generous enough to loan us numerous epic pieces to shoot for this project. Her taste for the dramatic speaks to my inner drag queen, and her costuming is definitely among the most photogenic ever.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/PoshFairytaleCoutureNever More Create, an etsy designer, was generous enough to trade me one of her awesome crocheted outfits, pink and red and delicious.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/NeverMoreCreateMarilyn of Adorned Immortal, soul sister, morbid designer, and friend till the end. Marilyn will always be one of my favorite people and artists! I love you lovely lady! Marilyn has an unparalleled ability to find bones out in the woods and intertwine them with wire and chain until they become a beautiful piece of jewelry. Her macabre disposition is reflected in her voodoo queen appearance!
https://www.facebook.com/AdornedImmortal Alexia, Adam, and Patrick, some of my favorite friends, and the first to make cameos on my site before our night out to the Magic Castle. It seems so so so long ago! Alexia later did some makeup for me and I am looking forward to having her as a HUGE contributor to my next project as well! She is one of the most talented makeup artists I have ever met, fast and detail oriented and flawless at beauty of extravagant looks.

https://www.facebook.com/pdmeditationThat weird dummy we found in the trash… Much later in the year this dude I was dating was looking for something under my bed and found his dismembered figure. Aaah, how it was all worth it, just for that moment!
David Weiser, one of my oldest friends, who I have known since high school. Thanks you for the genius purchase of my JOE MAMMA shirt. I didn’t “get it” at first… but I love it now!
Chrissy Fargo, with whom there is never a dull moment. Whether it is flogging me, juicing with me, doing yoga, or late night chats, her personality can handle it. It’s like there’s more than one woman living in that body.
Banana dong. You liberate me.
Caley of Miss G Designs, one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. Caley’s attention to detail in her creations is paralleled, her passion for making headdresses of an endless variety constantly amazes me. When I met Caley, it was as though I had been reunited with a long lost sister. We have the oddest and longest list of similarities and mirrored life experiences. It is no wonder we met in the feather shoppe, she ended up coming to all of my yoga classes, and is a most cherished soul mate. I love her, am intimidated by her, and look forward to a life long friendship of forever evolving aspirations.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/MissGDesignsShopPaul Roustan, my favorite body painter. Never was such a talented man so down to earth, there is no BS in his inspired approach to making art. I met him shortly after moving into Pillar Box Studios and have been fortunate enough to have him paint me a number of times since. We always manage to make up some silly song, catch phrase, or inside joke that carries into our next bi-coastal visit.
http://www.roustanbodypaint.com/Fables by Barrie, a vintage bathing suit designer, makes me feel like a pin up cartoon when I wear her super incredibly made retro attire.

The Dink and Selene, my little dogs. You guys drive me mad, and I love you. Although the Dink has moved on to a new home, I love that little fucker. Selene is a friend till the end, loyal and annoying.
America. Where all your dreams come true.
The Pinata District, located conveniently a few blocks from my house, is full of child induced inspirations. My dinosaur pinata was a favorite, he is barely standing now but hanging on for dear life.
Meditation, which was introduced into my life this past year, has continually given me an expanding perspective on my life and the world around me. Taught “energy consciousness by Patrick Dinkfeld, I am still such an amateur but loving every experience I have. I know that when I keep up with my practice the world around me is less frightening, and the magic of the world glows forever stronger.
America the Clown Face, found by David and Vanessa at at garage sale, so perfectly mirrored my alter ego that it’s creepy. Who is the artist who created this awful piece of art, and why aren’t we married?
Tom Dead Stuff, creator of pinatas and other morbid art. A truly EPIC paper mache artist, who ever thought they would hear those words paired together? I love his art, dark and creepy and ever so inappropriate.

Peter of Shrine Clothing was one of the first alternative designers I met when I was about 18. He then had, and still has, a shoppe on Melrose selling the most beautifully crafted ornate outfits that my inner goth could ever desire. Each garment is beautifully lined and meticulously executed. Wearable art at it’s finest, and as humble a man as ever was.
Suzy Homewrecker, creator of Hell on Heels, creates fun club wear that has a taste for the macabre. A sweet heart with an evil exterior.

Jill Fogel, who transformed me into a 100 year old woman. One of the creepiest shoots we ever did, my face said 100 and my body said 30. Have you ever heard of an acid nightmare?
https://www.facebook.com/jillglitterMy tiny snap shot camera, with whom I began my first self portrait experiences. This little camera was very simple in design, and I had to push the timer button then run in front of the lens. Often my photos came out blurry, but the result was magical, in that I learned to do photography. I am still super amateur, but looking forward to expanding my skills this coming year!
Yosemite National Park, whose inspiring landscape is burned into my soul by a week long backpacking adventure with my pal Matthew Ramos.
Marco Turrubairtes, an amazing painter and leather crafter, who I knew was a creative soul mate the moment we met in the blistering sun upon the Queen Mary in Long Beach. He is an artistic force whose tireless ability to make shit happen impresses and inspires me. Not to mention he draws boobies on skeletons. Yes, that’s right, red lipped big breasted skeletons are a memorable part of his deathly artistic endeavors.
https://www.facebook.com/FlowNinjaLeatherhttps://www.facebook.com/ElVaqueroMuertoArtUnicorns. You carry me through life.
Sugar Pill Cosmetics, creators of the most intense rainbow pigments, and most dazzling lashed. Their choice of color palette speaks to my inner drag queen.
https://www.facebook.com/sugarpillcosmeticsBeautiful V Nixie, a friend till the end and stunning fairy like creature, who was the first woman to disrobe with me for this project during a trip we took to the mountains for a weekend camp out. When I need help, she is always there. When I need fun, she is always there. I love that little wood nymph!
http://www.VNixie.Tumblr.ComMykal Binds, thank you for helping me figure out how to use my Canon camera, which I was struggling to do while on my camping trip. The camera was so new to me then that I was unable to properly set it, and as the sun was setting quickly one evening, he came to the rescue with advice and patience.

Shannon, whose delicious myriad of skin art transfixed my eyes, while the sweet nature of his soul made my heart churn.
Pamela Barber, who let me wear her beautiful wig for a shoot!
http://www.modelmayhem.com/1261319Andrez Diaz, who has been pushing me to start photographing other people for a long time, and a supportive fellow artist for more than a decade. As my life has evolved, he is one of those rare friends who has evolved in the same direction. Not to mention he is a talented designer and photographer, two things that speak to my heart.

https://www.facebook.com/events/587782664580566/Roxanne, a grounding friend and creative comrade, best friend till the end, woman of chameleon qualities who models my hats like a debutante, and manages to stay sane while the world spins out of control around her. When I am feeling off kilter, I can always call her to snap me back into reality, and while she listens to my woes, she offers no nonsense advice when I need it.
Oliver, the greatest cat that ever was!!! A tormented of all, and friend of many.
Julian, who never says no when I say please, and has helped me in ever so many ways, house sitting, airbrush artistry, and fine meal preparation!

https://www.facebook.com/redrumcollabJesse and Robert, both friends of many many years, and willing to text while I lay naked across their laps. Real pals I tell you!!!
http://dvnc-arts.com/Sandra, who adopted the Dink, will always be a life saver in my mind.
Jared Tate, the hottest neighbor a girl could hope for. An artist whose spirit speaks to mine, whose beautiful jewelry and body harnesses are of the most superb and elegant quality. He is like a kitten whose purr brings me back to earth.
https://www.facebook.com/dearraymer
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dear-Raymer-House/136962186370100 Tony, creator of my most prized possession, the beautiful fire chandelier which casts a magic glow of ambiance across the romantic evenings of my life. I love when an artist has the passion to create something unusual, and with attention to every detail. Plus, his art is dangerous, a quality which I love in a man! Mmmmm!!!
Alexandra Matthew, an extraordinaire model and woman. She sweetly gifted me a piece of jewelry after an evening pot luck and I almost cried with surprised gratitude.
http://www.alexandra-mathews.com/Roxy Contin, my sister from another mister, and decadently adorned super heroine. Sweet enough to donate a raunchy romper for me to raunchily romp around in :-)
https://www.facebook.com/NudigenousMoon and Dean Ryan, my boyfriend and girlfriend, captors of my heart, friends from my past and into my future. These two came along when I was looking for a nice monogamous boyfriend and somehow convinced me that what I really needed was a nice three way romance. They are my muses, my stability, and my hearts desire, forever changed am I by these two kindred spirits, who adore me for my good parts and tolerate my bad parts.
Ming Vauz, who let me photograph him… naked. Musician and now, fellow nude model! ha!!!
Sam, my studio mate, who generously loaned me a camera and lens and bunch of lights. He is always there for me, unfaltering generous and sweet natured. He provided me with the first opportunity I had to take self portraits with a “real camera”, and without his support I would never have been where I am now. He’s like a silent support system in the shadows.

Michael Helms, who recently gave me my very own camera, a Canon 5D. Before that I had been borrowing one from my dear studio mate, but Michael was kind in gifting me one of my own. I met Michael modeling for him years ago but we have since become friends of a deeper nature, he is such a caring loving talented beautiful man, forever in my life I shall cherish him. Words cannot describe the love we share.
Ophelia Overdose and Moritz Maibaum, model and photographer. Both incredibly inspired people who have visited the US a couple times this past year. Ophelia is an amazing creator of costumes, head pieces and an artful retoucher as well. She is super young but going strong along her creative path, for which I admire her greatly! Mo is a rad photographer, set builder, and retoucher as well. When the two of them pair up it is as though magic has graced the photos. They pay meticulous attention to every detail, costuming makeup, hair, environment, and post production!
Darth Raper and the magic Tea Pot, who gratified my sexual desires in a moment of loneliness.
Royal Black Couture Corsetry, whose beautiful creations I have longingly lusted for, and whose decadent wares I was lucky enough to robe myself in just once!

-Sylva
I guess I should add my two cents here as well even though Sylva covered all the thank you’s very thoroughly.
I’ll keep it short and sweet. Sylva is the most interesting, loving, creative person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. And that’s saying a lot considering some of our shared friends, but it’s the absolute truth as I see it. I would never have even attempted such an ambitious project with anyone else. We may not have done exactly what we set out to(and that would be entirely my fault for moving out only three months into the project) but I still couldn’t be happier with what we created.
So thank you everyone for all the love and encouragement you gave us and hopefully we’ll see you around:)
One more thing before I go… In a very strange coincidence, the last day of this project also happened to be the 6th anniversary of
the very first time I shot photos of Sylva. Who knew where that would go?
-Lucky
REALLY NOW. THE END.
